ACTION means serving others by giving of ourselves to meet their needs. Jesus was a servant; we need to serve in order to follow His example. To be worthy of Jesus' example,three (3) active ingredients need to be present:

SERVICE--which means the action is focused on needs.
SELFLESSNESS--which means the action is focused on others.
SACRIFICE--which means the action is focused on giving

There are many ways to put faith into action at Winslow Baptist Church! Some involve serving inwardly (aimed at our church family), and others involve serving outwardly (aimed at our community). We are planning an outreach to our community in the form of a church picnic at Fort Halifax Park on July 31st.
