Pioneer Clubs is Winslow Baptist Church’s midweek program for children in pre-K through 6th grade. In today’s rapidly changing and fast-paced society, children often feel insecure and vulnerable. Pioneer Clubs gives children a place to belong, to enjoy themselves, and to experience God’s love through caring adult leaders. The program uses Bible exploration, life application exercises, and fun activities to allow God’s Word to reach deep into the heart of each child. This combination plants the seeds of lifelong spiritual growth.

In a time when many children’s programs focus on competition and winning, the Pioneer Clubs non-competitive awards program enables all children to develop a positive self-image and a sense of worth as a child of God. Bible awards and activity awards are built into the curriculum; the emphasis earning the awards is self-improvement, and each goal is accomplished through teamwork.

Relationship-building between club members and by leaders with club members is a hallmark of the Pioneer Clubs' program. Through the program, adults and children are able to form healthy, lasting bonds.

Pioneer Clubs is run by many caring adults, many of whom are professional educators and parents. These leaders have undergone training and background screening to provide a safety conscious program. The program meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00 and follows the Winslow Public School System calendar.
